Urbinati RT12 Tray Filling Machine

The latest pot, pack and tray filling machine from Urbinati is an important step forward in delivering optimum results in the competitive horticulture industry. It is ideally suited to filling deep trays, packs and punnets prior to automatic seed sowing or transplanting of seedlings. Capable of 600 trays per hour, this machine ensures that every cell is filled with the same quantity and compaction of soil.

Soil filling is electronically controlled to ensure there is no over-filling or -compacting. The trade off is that the RT12 has an output of up to 600 trays per hour as opposed to the RN09 tray filler which can process up to 900 trays per hour. Output depends on the size of the trays of course. The video shows punnets being filled (NB safety guarding has been removed for better visibility).
